Did dressage with Dakota again last night...
He didn't do nearly as well.
I guess that's a lesson learned. Never do it exactly the same twice in a row. Or at least not without Kim there.

I'm going to try and actually do this every day. Things I did with Dakota, how he's improving, and even other horses I rode... :)
About Dakota
Dakota is a 2000 Thoroughbred gelding "foal" [so, now he's eight], 16.1 hands high, and a dappled grey color that is fast fading to more of a fleabitten grey. He has black points [hooves to knees, dark grey muzzle, black mane & tail] and his tail fades to a flaxen color at the very bottom. He is very intelligent, loves people and attention, and is the dominant horse in his turn out. His show name is Kodak Moment, and he got me FIVE ribbons at our first show ever [it was h/j, so we got a ribbon for the individual classes]. Our first combined training show, we got second!!! [dressage & XC - the pony who won was a been-there-done-that horse who could basically win without a rider on its back]. He loves to get injured, hates apples, and has a high fondness for carrots. He is also very lazy, a racetrack reject [even with drugs, he didn't win more than 2 races], and is the bravest thing I've ever ridden. I love him!
